NBA Betting 11/1/18 – Bales’ MyBookie Bets

Sacramento Kings (-140)

The Sacramento Kings have been one of the bigger surprises in the NBA this season. They have found quite a bit of success early on, ranking 15th in the NBA in net offensive and defensive rating (0.4). They get a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who have struggled with a -7.1 net off and def rating this season. Both teams are young, but Sacramento features a deeper, more versatile team. The Kings and Hawks are both known for pushing the pace, and I side heavily with the SacTown offense. While Atlanta does possess scorers that can heat up and take over games, this line is a bit too close for how well Sacramento has been playing.

Bet 3 units on the Sacramento ML to win 2.1 units (-140)

Milwaukee Bucks (+140)

This line is a bit odd, and I’m willing to take a shot on it. The Milwaukee Bucks have been the best team in the NBA this season, leading the league with a 14.8 net off and def rating. They also rank sixth in the NBA in offensive rating and second in defensive rating. The Boston Celtics also rank in the top-10 of the league in net off and def rating, but they simply have had more holes than Milwaukee. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been playing at an MVP-level this season, and he has been cleared to return to action tonight. It’s worrisome that this game is being played in Boston, but Milwaukee has the potential to be the best team in the East, especially when Antetokounmpo is playing well. If the odds start closing, I likely won’t be making this bet, but these odds are too good to pass up.
