We have gotten the news already that James Harden will be sitting tonight. This opens the door for us to play multiple Nets. This is a fantastic matchup with the Wizards. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will be two of the highest owned players on today’s slate, they are priority spend ups on both sites. The value for Brooklyn will vary based on the starting lineup, Bruce Brown looks like the biggest beneficiary of Harden’s absence. Landry Shamet will be lower owned and I don’t love his talent, but for the minimum on DK he has to be in the conversation.
An interesting way to attack this Nets/Wizards game is to stack it up. Running back the duo of Irving and Durant with Russell Westbrook is a great way to try and get to the top in tournaments.
Toronto will be without OG Anunoby and Normal Powell again today. Kyle Lowry is underpriced on DK at 7.2K, Pascal Siakam is a great price as well at 7.6k. I will be locking in Siakam on both sites, his minutes are extremely secure. The other Raptor that benefits is Terrance Davis, he started last game but didnt close. He was on pace to crush his price tag, I will be investing in him again today.
I am very interested in Collin Sexton today. Even in a blowout he got up to 35 minutes last game. He is dominating ball handling duties for this Cavs team. The Cavs get a fantastic matchup today versus a Timberwolves team that we have been picking on every chance we can. An interesting tournament angle is stacking up with Cavs team with multiple pieces like Garland and Drummond on top of Sexton.
The last game that has some intriguing targets is this PHI/IND game. Lamb is a great value on both sites today and will be popular in cash games. The tournament targets for me today are Seth Curry and Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis will go under owned in a tougher matchup, but he has shown his ability to play big minutes and take over a game. Seth Curry will be very low owned but his price has dipped since he dealt with Covid. He was on pace to play low-mid 30’s minutes last time out before the blowout. He can get hot from 3 and break a slate at low ownership.
