Thoughts:
This has become a star and scrubs slate with value opening up on the Celtics.
The Celtics value for me decides the slate. I do think the value is more important than Marcus Smart. Smart is a great play but I may be going elsewhere in cash. The Celtics value ranked in order for me is as follows. Aaron Nesmith, Daniel Theis, Jeff Teague, Payton Prichard, and Tacko Fall. Since I am looking at them in that order, Tacko may fall behind the rest of the pack for me. Theis will play a ton of Center for the Celtics. I just don’t see the massive minutes potential like a lot of other guys on the Celtics have today. It wouldn’t surprise me if Tacko was still not inserted into the starting lineup.
The other news is that Demar Derozan is out today. He has been great to start the year, leading the team in scoring/usage. Dejounte Murray and Keldon Johnson look to fill the scoring void. I played Murray yesterday with Derozan in the lineup, he is a lock for me today in all formats.
Kevin Durant will return today for the Nets. The Nets will still be without Kyrie today. Durant will look to produce against his former team today in his first game back in action.
Getting the studs right today will decide the slate. I am very excited to play Steph Curry today. Curry has been fun to watch this year, he is finally over 10k, he is a great target as a spend up today. We have so much value that you can fit multiple studs today.
One interesting GPP angle for today is using the Celtics value to stack the LAL/HOU game. Lebron, Harden, and Davis together is an interesting tournament angle for today’s slate!
