Welcome back DFS grinders to another edition of my WNBA Props article. We have another big slate with five games to work with tonight. I wish the WNBA wouldn’t make these slates so big and space out the games to get more viewership. Anyway, let’s dive right in!

Prizepicks Plays
Candace Parker UNDER 32 fantasy points: Parker has been trending downward since the Sparks finally have a full team with Williams back after suspension. A big part of this has been Parker’s usage drop. Posting a 22 and a 20 % usage rate. This coming after posting 27% usage rate right before Williams return. The line just hasn’t fully adjusted to a healthy Sparks team and it’s time to take advantage of that here. All of that on top of the fact the Sparks are playing on of the best if not the best defensive team in the league. PF just has not faired well against the Mystics. There has really only been one PF to dominate this matchup during August and that was Howard because she was lacking Loyd and her usage rate was off the charts during that stretch. Not to mention she is one of the best players in the league. Low usage rate means low fantasy productions (Unless we get screw by B/S) Plus the Sparks are in a pace down spot as well as going up against a top 4 rebounding team. The Opportunites just won’t be there as much as they used to be for Parker to have the chance to go over. Parker should be an easy under here an I’ll actually take her under down to 28.5.
Leilani Mitchell UNDER 23.0 fantasy points: This is a low total in a great matchup but for good reason. Taurasi came in and ate up so much usage the fantasy points of ost of this team dropped as expected. The biggest hit cam to Mitchell where she saw a season-low 9.4% usage rate. 9.4! Which ranks bottom 2% in a game where a player logged 25 or more minutes. That rivals Briann January numbers and we all know how frustrating a player she is. We see these big minutes but I’m not even sure what she does on the floor. Mitchell was never a high fantasy scorer this has been her best year in a 10 year stretch but that was due to the lack of depth in PHO. This is probably the healthiest Mercury team we will see all season and sub 20 fantasy performances for Mitchell will be a common denominator moving forward.
