What is up Karma Nation, welcome to another edition of my WNBA DFS slate breakdown. We finally have a HUGE 5 game slate! For that reason, I will go tier by tier instead of the normal game by game. This article will be focusing on my favorite spend-up spots, as well as, those must-needed value plays. If you are new to WNBA DFS, welcome and I am excited to have you join the WNBA train.

Star Tier:
To start my article off I wanted to first off say Tina Charles is out tonight for the Mystics. This will open up a lot for the Mystics, value and stars.
Myisha Hines-Allen is going to step into the role she did last season as the primary scorer and fantasy point accumulator for the Mystics. People may have forgotten how dominant she truly was and that will show based on tonight’s ownership. The young up incoming star is averaging 31.3 DK points per game even with Charles active, so I am expecting that to reach close to 40 as the Mystics will be without the player with the top usage rate and shot volume in the league; the shots and usage have to go somewhere.
Dewanna Bonner: The sun are going to be without Jonquel Jones for at least three more games and they need a much more dominant showing from Bonner tonight. She only had 20.8 Fpts in 26 minutes in an 89-66 loss to the Storm. The bright side tonight, she has a much easier matchup against the storm who don’t have many players that can match up with her one on one. As well as coming off a 27.8% usage rate, which was her third-highest output on the season. So there is still room to grow even with the usage rate.
Mid Tier:
Brionna Jones: We are lucky Jones still finds herself under 10k after flopping last game against the Storm, who is much better defensively than the Sky. The main issue with this play is she has to deal with some tough interior defenders for the Sky, but without Jonquel Jones she is their main and only big on this team. I expect between 35-40 minutes tonight and easily eclipsing 30 fpts. Jones is coming off a 22% usage rate, 30 minutes, and 26 fpts in a blowout loss where rebounds were not favorable for her. Even though she had her second-worst rebounding game of the season, she had a middle-of-the-road rebounding % game. This means there were not many missed shots leading to rebounding opportunities.
Bottom Tier:
Jazmine Jones has played fantastic during the absence of Sabrina Ionescu. The only issue is, will Sabrina play or not. She is currently questionable and we may not know if she’s active until after the 7 pm lock. Jones has 25+ DK points in both games where Sabrina has missed. As well as averaging 24 minutes and a 25% usage rate over that stretch. If Sabrina is out expect her to have another great game. She is mainly a GPP play for me because you probably won’t know news until later on so you are risking Sabrina playing. She should have low ownership as well.
Theresa Plaisance will get a huge boast with Charles off the floor tonight. I assume we see her slide into the starting lineup tonight. In her limited role, Plaisance has been putting up massive fantasy-point-per-minute numbers. Over the last two games, she has 50 DK points in 32 minutes of play. I expect her top finally top 20 minutes again tonight and easily hit value.
