What’s Up Karma Nation! We had a rough day yesterday missing cash line on both Draftkings and Fanduel for the first time this week. I’m excited for tonight’s slate. Be on the look out for who is starting tonight for the Sparks.
Draftkings Cash Lineup: 157.25 (6-3 on the season)

My biggest decision last night was Bonner and Whitcomb vs Loyd and Canada. I went with the safe floor of Bonner because she has been a plug and play for me. I didn’t think about the value I could have gotten for 30+ points from Loyd and Canada. Bonner/Whitcomb combined for 40.25, while Canada/Loyd combined for 62.5. That 22.25 point would have brought me up to 179.5 which would have gotten me second in the $180 Windmill and the first in the $33 triple threat. Which would have won me $1125. As always Hindsight is 20/20.
Fanduel Cash Lineup: 189.7 (6-4 on the season)
- Alarie, J. Loyd, J. Canada, B. Stewart, A. Stevens, B. Jones, K.Thornton
Ended up having my Wings players flopping and costing me cash, K. Thornton and B. Alarie combined for 17.7 points. I didn’t think Hiedeman would be chalk so I faded her in cash and had her in GPP. A. Smith was in my player pool too but Hartley news came out too late so I didn’t have her. I made my GPP around Hartley being out with DT and Smith.

Guards
Top Tier
Chelsea Gray ($8,300): I’ve been back and forth on the guards to pay up for tonight. I don’t want to pay 9.2k for Mitchell, so that leaves me with a choice between Atkins and Gray. Both pose amazing upside today but who should we choose? The Mystics are 16 point favorites today so Atkins could end up seeing reduced run even in a great matchup so I lean Atkins in GPP over Gray. Gray has a great matchup too against these Vegas guard, plus Nneka is out so we should see Gray get more usage. The bump to Gray with no Nneka and the blowout risk in NY scares me off Atkins and has me leaning Gray in cash
Middle Tier
Crystal Dangerfield: Since Fowles should be back tonight I’m moving off Carleton and onto Dangerfield. What is nice it’s the first game so we should know starters. She has seen two start games with 10+ FGAs and most coming from deep. She may only be 5’5 but she plays a lot bigger than that. She is mainly a scorer but she is able to fill the stat sheets in multiple ways.
Cheap Tier
Sydney Weise: I know I hate this play too but we may need to lock her in tonight. Weise saw a season high and team high 28 minutes last game. I am expecting to see her start again tonight. She is only 4.1k on Draftkings so it frees up a lot of salary especially with DK pricing up Gulich so you can use both tonight.
Forwards
Top Tier
Candace Parker: Draftkings did a surprisingly good job pricing her up on the slate so she doesn’t become a lock for GPPs too but on FD she is just way too cheap. No Nneka today, so her usage rate should go up. All those times Nneka was carrying the ball up the floor will be put on the shoulders of Parker.
Middle Tier
Emma Meeseman: I never understand fanduel continually making Meeseman so cheap while she is the most expensive forward on DK every slate she is on. Meeseman has gotten you 30+ fantasy points in every game except for the first game where she struggled with foul trouble and turning the ball over. We knew before the season that Meeseman would have a big role on this team with no EDD or Charles and that is coming true. Her and Myshia Hines-Allen are tied with eachother for highest usage rate on the team. What Meeseman lacks in rebounding % she makes up with being the second highest rating forward in ast%.
GPP Pivot: Tearia McCowan. (Needs to play against Fowles)
Cheap Tier
Maria Gulich: We see a trend here about pounding the Sparks players. That’s what happens when you lose a high usage high stat and former MVP in the lineup. Stats just start to open up and you get value. If we see Gulich starting just lock her in, Gpps and cash. She is just way too cheap.
GPP Pivot: Rashanda Gray and Kristine Anigwe
