Kristaps Porziņģis UNDER 44.8 fantasy points: Porzingis is coming off his best game this season but is about to hit a tough matchup against the Nuggets. He is coming off an ACL tear where he missed an entire season and was put on a minutes limit the first two games of the season. Now he has to travel to altitude which could easily influence his conditioning. We could easily see him not break 30 minutes tonight. This is also just a tough matchup for him in general. The Nuggets are the best rebounding team in the league and play at the slowest pace in the league. They are a top defensive team. This game might not even break 100 points for either team even though Vegas has this game projected for 213 this game should go under. Porzingis needs another 30 point game to flirt with hitting this over. Yes, he has gone over this mark in 2 out of the previous 3 games but they have really only played bad defenses this year and this is Porzingis’ first real test this season and I’ll gladly go under here.
Lebron James OVER 51 fantasy points: The grit and grind era in Memphis is over. Memphis has completely revamped there team getting rid of Conley and Gasol. This has led to a pace bump going from bottom 5 consistently every year to first. The Lakers are playing at the league’s second-slowest pace but that stems from playing all teams that are the bottom half of the league in pace. The Grizzles have surprisingly been able to control bigs this year but that’s because they have been playing extremely strong backcourts. Lebron at the point with his high usage rate in a pace up spot should be able to find himself with a 20+ point game with a potential triple-double, with a for sure double-double. He might lead the league in assists. Lebron has yet to fully reach his ceiling yet and this is the spot where he can find himself with over 60 fantasy points.
