Welcome back DFS Grinders and we have another addition of my PrizePicks Palooza Article.
Same deal with my Monkey Knife Fight Plays Article I had an extremely busy day at work and have not had a lot of time to write. Even though these plays are condensed with their analysis a lot of thought has still gone into it. I’ve got a handle on most of these series just by watching the games.
Plays of the day
1) Paul Millsap OVER 38.8 fantasy prop: This is a prop I could put in my article literally every game this series. So I’m reminding you guys how good this play has been. He has a complete mismatch inside against Aminu, Harkless and especially Turner, where he saw most of his success against him in second quarters. He has 3 straight 40+ point fantasy props and he looks to continue that streak tonight as the Nuggets look to end this entertaining series. He has feasted in the post and on the boards and is proving why he’s worth that $30 million contract.
2) Damian Lillard OVER 47.0 fantasy prop: Here could be the last game for Dame this season and he’s not going down without a fight. We have seen how clutch he has been in his career most recently draining the series clinching “bad” shot over George. I have little doubt in my mind Dame won’t be putting up 25+ shots. No way he puts his future in the hands of McCollum like we’ve seen this series. Feeding the hot hand works and this game it will happen just with Dame. We have saw Dame play the whole second half game 1 to keep his team in it and we will probably see that tonight if the Trailblazers are Trailing (hehe). He’s had an awful game shooting the 3 all series, which is a complete 180 from against the Thunder series but we usually see shooting like this regress to the mean after posting 7/32 posting nights in 4 straight games. Especially a player of this caliber.
Trap of the Day
Joel Embiid 44 fantasy prop: Apparently a report came out he’s feeling much much better but it’s hard for me to trust that with how bad he’s been playing. I will say that makes him one of my favorite GPP/single game plays in DFS, especially now that he’s cheaper than Kawhi. Anyway, back to PrizePicks, there’s just more trustworthy props out there then trusting Embiid who has fought illness, injury, a bad matchup and his minutes limit. Game 3 appeared to show his ceiling while healthy but I just can’t trust him either way. Even though all signs point to the under again.
