Welcome back DFS grinders we have another edition of my Prizepicks Palooza article.
ARTICLE RECAP: 1/2
NAtasha Cloud fantasy prop: It was set at 24 points and she ended up with 24.5. All the starters were taken out of the game and she stayed in and got a steal right before she was finally taken out so we bubbled. Bad Beat.
Boogie Cousins fantasy prop: It was set at 35 and he ended up way under with 10.6 and barely playing.
Plays of the Day
Kayla McBride UNDER 26.3 fantasy prop: This means I love the under of 27.5 fantasy prop on MKF. Combine a couple things here: blowout risk, check, matched up against Hayes, check, Cambage increased playing time, check. All signs point to the under. We have a blowout risk here one of if not they best teams in the WNBA is going up against what might be the worst team in the WNBA especially from the offensive side of the ball. They will not be able to keep up with the scoring of the Aces and will get blown out of the building real quick. McBride will be going up against one of the toughest matchups for guards out there. Hayes might be the best perimeter defender in the league and her talents are being wasted in Atlanta. She should be able to shut down McBride as the Aces look for easy offense elsewhere McBride should be a non factor in this one. Last note to touch on Liz is going to see much more minutes in this matchup as she gets more and more healthy. Imagine the Aces as the Warriors separate all those guys score high fantasy numbers because of such a high usage. Once they all come together fantasy production drops as usage drops. You simply can’t feed all these mouths and sacrifices have to be made as they going on this championship run.
Napheesa Collier UNDER 29 fantasy points: Don’t get me started on how much money she cost me on that rebound with less than a minute left, but I’m back hammering the under on her. Outside of her amazing debut she has yet to score more than 29 fantasy points. She is a rookie still getting used to the WNBA so I’m still not buying into her just yet. She has been playing extremely efficient in these games leading to higher than normal fantasy numbers. She should come back to earth here as she finds herself in a tough matchup.
