What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Value Plays article. I will be focusing solely on DraftKings. Always remember that the value on DraftKings is not always the value on FanDuel, or any other site you are playing on. Value is mainly determined by two things: injury news or lazy pricing. A player could be underpriced because salaries came before injury news. A site can also be lazy and not raise the price of a player who has been playing way above their price and getting the minutes to prove it’s sustainable.
If you are familiar with NBA DFS you know the best value could open up minutes before the slate locks. So, make sure to check back later in the day, the best value plays for the slate may change depending on if we get injury news we were not expecting or that we were waiting for all day. I will be providing an update at the bottom of the article if there is a need for it. There will be times we receive news less than an hour before lock, that is where it is vital to join our discord for free. Malachi Flynn $4700:
We are going right back to Flynn again tonight. As the Raptors are dealing with suspensions, he is going to have to have another huge role for the team tonight against the Bulls who play high paced. Luckily DK raised his price but still not enough for tonight’s matchup. He isn’t going to be as chalky as last game but still, his price is not high enough to avoid tonight. Flynn is coming off another 30+ minute game leading to 33 DK points. Not only has Flynn been seeing an increase in minutes, but has also seen a 20+ percent usage rate in all three of those games as well. 20% usage rate and upwards of 35 minutes is something I don’t want to fade tonight.
Miye Oni $3000:
Let’s get wild tonight with a potential 1% owned play tonight. With Clarkson doubtful, outside of Ingles, there is no real backup guard for the Jazz. This will lead to two different situations. We will either see Conley, Mitchell, and Jingles play extremely high minutes, or this will lead to Oni swooping in and taking Clarkson’s minutes. Clarkson has yet to miss a game this season so we don’t know for certain who will take his spot but if you are looking for a milly maker dart throw, he is your guy.
