What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Value Plays article. I will be focusing solely on DraftKings. Value is mainly determined by two things: injury news or lazy pricing. A player could be underpriced because salaries came before injury news. A site can also be lazy and not raise the price of a player who has been playing way above their price, and getting the minutes to prove it’s sustainable.
If you are familiar with NBA DFS you know the best value could open up minutes before the slate locks. So, make sure to check back later in the day, the best value plays for the slate may change depending on if we get injury news we were not expecting or that we were waiting for all day. I will be providing an update at the bottom of the article if there is a need for it. There will be times we receive news less than an hour before lock, that is where it is vital to join our discord for free. Keldon Johnson $5000
DeMar DeRozan is set to miss another game tonight against the Detriot Pistons. On top of missing LaMarcus Aldridge, the Spurs need as much help as they can get if they are looking to win tonight. Since returning from covid Johnson has not looked the same, averaging only 16.0 DK points per game over these four games. This makes him more of a GPP play for me tonight. Even with DDR and LMA missing games, Johnson has not shown what he has been capable of earlier in the season. The Spurs are also coming off back-to-back blowout losses so that has factored into his poor performances as well. This is a great bounceback spot for him tonight.

Cody Zeller $4900
Zeller has been quietly having a fantastic season for his caliber of player. The former number four overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft is averaging 10.5 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game this season as a starter. He is coming off an injury that sidelined him for four games but since he is back he has been averaging 25 DK points per game.
Zeller gets a great matchup against the Kings tonight. The Kings play subpar defense and play at a high pace. They are dead last with a 118.8 defensive rating this season while playing at the 10th highest pace in the league. They are also giving up the 7th most second-chance points and the most points in the paint. This becomes a centers dream matchup tonight.
