What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Value Plays article. In this article, I will be focusing solely on DraftKings. Always remember that the value on DraftKings is not always the value on FanDuel, or any other site you are playing on. If you haven’t signed up for core plays yet, make sure to do so by clicking here. We have daily, weekly, monthly, and season-long packages. You can try us out for as little as $5!
Value is mainly determined by two things: injury news or lazy pricing. A player could be underpriced because salaries came before injury news. A site can also be lazy and not raise the price of a player who has been playing way above their price, and getting the minutes to prove it’s sustainable.
If you are familiar with NBA DFS you know the best value could open up minutes before the slate locks. So, make sure to check back later in the day, the best value plays for the slate may change depending on if we get injury news we were not expecting or that we were waiting for all day. I will be providing an update at the bottom of the article if there is a need for it. There will be times we receive news less than an hour before lock, that is where it is vital to join our discord for free. Whether it is on the free side or the premium side there will always be people discussing injury news and how it has impacted the slate.

All plays are under $5000!
Alec Burks $4,700:
Burks was able to start the season off with tremendous success until an ankle injury sidelined him for a couple of weeks. He started the season off hot, averaging 34.6 DK points a game off 28 minutes per game. He has yet to start a game this season so it doesn’t worry me that he still isn’t in the starting lineup moving forward. He is used more as a spark off the bench. The Knicks slide Burks into the starting lineup the last three games to replace Reggie Bullock. With Bullock projected back, Burks should slide back into a bench role giving him a much higher usage rate. Sometimes playing off the bench is much better for players. Just depends on their play style. Burks is able to score more and has more rebounding opportunities on the bench compared to in the starting lineup.
The Knicks get a pace up spot against the Bulls tonight, who not only play at a high pace but struggle defensively. The Bulls have been able to control the pace a majority of games this season. They have seen over 100 possessions in a game all but three games this season. While also allowing over 100 points in every game this season. The Knicks should have no trouble ripping through the holes of this extremely bad defense in a high scoring game.
The projections portal is showing Alec Burks as a great value play on the slate and projected for 26.39 fantasy points.
Xavier Tillman $4,800:
The second-round pick from Michigan State has shown promise with his short time in the NBA so far. He cracked the rotation at the start of January and has been slowly making a name for himself in the fantasy community. Since Jonas Valencuians has been out Tillman has been great at hitting value. Even with his pricetag increase Tillman still provides value in a great matchup.
Tillman in both starts this season has reached 5x at his current price tag while also putting up 31 and 26.8 DK points in the two games prior to him cracking the starting lineup. With Memphis’ lack of depth in the frontcourt, this has led to an increased role for the young rookie. This should be another great spot to take advantage of tonight as they get a rematch against the Spurs.
The projections portal is showing Xavier Tillman as a great value play on the slate and projected for 25.76 fantasy points.
Potential Value added:
If Steven Adams is ruled out, Jaxson Hayes should slide into the starting lineup.
Risky Milly Maker Punt
Hassan Whiteside. Has been getting an increase in minutes and is able to generate fantasy points in quick spurts with his ability to block shots and rebounds.
