Welcome back Grinders to the final regular season edition of my Monkey Knife Fight Plays Article. We will have a crazy slate with all these inactives coming in so stay on the lookout for them.
I just want to take the time to thank everyone on this wild ride of an NBA season and I hope you have enjoyed my writings. I’ll still be writing for the playoffs and will have a special NBA playoffs preview coming soon.
It’s the last day of the NBA regular season and we have a lot of teams playing for something and a lot playing for nothing with a ton of rest news already happening.
Teams playoff Picture
Pacers @ Hawks: Pacers and Hawks have nothing to play for
Heat @ Nets: Nets have the tiebreaker with the Magic but a loss and a Magic win would knock them down to 7 they also have the tie breaker with the Pistons so they can’t drop down to 8. The Heat have nothing to play for except for Wade’s last game.
Magic @ Hornets: Hornets need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive but need the Pistons to lose as well.
Pistons @ Knicks: Pistons secure the 7th seed with a win or a Hornets loss. A Pistons lose and Hornets win knocks them out. The Kicks have nothing to play for.
Bulls @ 76ers: Bulls and 76ers have nothing to play for.
Warriors @ Grizzles: Warriors and Grizzles have nothing to play for.
Thunder @ Bucks: Thunder are trying to secure that 6th seed with a win. The Bucks have nothing to play for.
Mavericks @ Spurs: Spurs just need to win and they get the 7th seed or a Clippers lose will keep them at the 7th seed.
Timberwolves @ Nuggets: Nuggets need to win to get the 2 seed if not they drop to the 3 seed. Timberwolves have nothing to play for.
Jazz @ Clippers: The Clippers need to win and the Spurs need to lose to have the Clippers move to the 7th seed. The Jazz have nothing to play for they are stuck at the 5 seed.
Kings @ Blazers: If the Blazers and the Nuggets win then the Blazers get the 3 seed and the Rockets fall to the 4 seed. The Kings have nothing to play for. It looks like Dame and CJ are out so looks like they aren’t going for the 3 seed.
Favorite Plays
Andre Drummond OVER 16.5 rebounds: With Griffin doubtful I’m in love with Drummond today. He has an amazing matchup vs the Knicks who rank 28th in the league in rebounding percentage since Jordon left the team. This is the first time Drummond is playing the Knicks without Kanter or Jordon so he should have no problems feasting on the boards in what could be a must win game for the Pistons to make the playoffs with no Griffin.
D Wade OVER 17.5 scoring prop: Lets go right back to my man in his final game of his hall of fame career. He dropped 30 last night in his final home game now he’ll play Brooklyn for his final game of the season and I know he’ll ball out for the fans in Brooklyn. He seems to be going out with a bang with 3 straight games of 20 or more points. I know I’ll be tuning in to watch his last game I hope y’all do too.
