Joey’s Favorite NBA Monkey Knife Fight Props 12/09

I have some exciting news to announce today. Officially I will be switching off my DFS Showdown content and I will be focusing all my energy on getting my Monkey Knife Fight thoughts out to the public. This is a new article so I will be experimenting with some ideas to figure out the best way to inform the public on plays, while still giving the edge to us at Karma and joining our discord! Let me first start off by introducing myself, if you don’t already know me, I’m Joey your resident Prop Goat. I have basically fully transferred all my investment away from those huge DFS companies like Fanduel and Draftkings and I’m all in on Monkey Knife Fight. It was the best move I’ve made in my fantasy sports career and there really isn’t much turning back. I can’t get away from that GPP thrill so of course, I left money in DFS to ride out those GPP takedowns. Make sure you also check out me and Sam’s weekly Prop Party pod as well.

Make sure to check out Monkey Knife Fight projections built by Luke (NBA) (NFL) they are always great.

We have another special announcement for you involving FREE DISCORD!!!

Top Plays

Jrue Holiday UNDER 6.5 assists: I will continue to ride this under until they decide to take Holiday assists off the board. Again, he is projected at 6.5 assists but that is still too high with Lonzo back in the starting rotation. Over the past 3 games, he is averaging just under 5 assists per game and 11 potential assists per game. which at an average of 1/2 of potential assists converting into assists he should be averaging around 5.5 assists per game. This number is still 1 or 2 assists too high for me with Lonzo back so until they drop him to 4.5 assists where he should be I will continue to go under on him.

Evan Fournier UNDER 19.5 points/27.5 fantasy points: Fournier has been balling but he is going up the number 1 defense in the league against SGs. I thought I would add both these plays together because they are one of the most correlated in the NBA. Fournier is averaging 29 fantasy points and 19 real points. 24 points and 33 fantasy points over his past 9 games. His points account for 65.5% of his fantasy points, which ranks one of the highest in the league. Basically, if he isn’t scoring he isn’t putting up fantasy production. I like double dipping on the unders here tonight for Fournier. The Data Dashboard has him projected for 27.33.

Ja Morant OVER 16.5 points/30.5 fantasy points: It’s a double, double-dip Monday. Ja Morant is coming back from a back injury without a minutes limit and was not priced correctly with the matchup he has. Before the injury, he was finally getting into that number 2 pick stride and against the Warriors, there’s really no better matchup to get back into the swing of things. Over the 5 games before his back injury, Ja was averaging 18.5 points per game and 41 fantasy points. Memphis plays at the 6th highest pace in the league and play at a slower pace without Ja, so they will go back to playing at one of the fastest paces in the league while playing against a bottom 5 team in defensive efficiency. There will be plenty of fantasy points to go around tonight.
