In the article below I will highlight a few of my top plays from todays slate, and analysis as to why I am targeting them for my FanDuel and DraftKings lineups.
Guards
Caleb Love (UNC): Dk 6.8k
Love (no pun intended) Caleb Love today. He is as cheap as he has been all year, and is playing as many minutes as he can handle. He has displayed really good rates all year long, and in the tournament. UCLA will try and slow this UNC team down, but so did Baylor and that did not work out too well. Love UNC today, especially Love and Manek as I think they are priced at least 1k too cheap.
Remy Martin (Kansas): Dk 5.9k
Martin has been playing at an elite level during the course of the tournament, and because of that DK has finally priced him right. With the amount of minutes Self is giving him and his crazy usage rate, he still has plenty of upside at an elevated price tag. I really like him a mid-tier option today.
Johnny Juzang (UCLA): Dk 6.3k
Juzang and the rest of the Bruins will be paced up vs. UNC tonight, benefiting all of them. It is unclear if Jaquez is going to be able to go today, and if he doesn’t I expect a little more usage to flow to Juzang. Either way Juzang leads this team in usage, and could be in for a big game vs. the weaker UNC defense.
Forwards
Armando Bacot (UNC): Dk 9.4k
Monster rates across the board, and has absolutely smashed every front court he has seen this tournament. UCLA presents a strong challenge, but Bacot is nearly matchup proof, as long as he can avoid early foul trouble. He is priced way up today, but still can be considered in all formats due to his 40 dkpt floor and 60 dkpt ceiling.
Brady Manek (UNC): Dk 7.1k
It is a shame that Manek was ejected with over 10 minutes left vs. Baylor. He was absolutely crushing, and has been all tournament long. Manek is a very good 3pt shooter and is a very strong rebounder. I expect him to give this UCLA team fits, along with Bacot. At his price, I am going to strongly consider him as a core play. I love both of these UNC bigs and have no problem playing both of them together in my main line.
