Guards
J. Goodwin (STL) vs. LSU
Goodwin is the top returning player for St. Louis this year, and comes in with high expectations based on his play in the past. He had a solid showing in the season opener accounting for 12 points and 11 rebounds. For a guard, Goodwin is an exceptional rebounder. This game should have some good pace to it, giving Goodwin and St. Louis more possessions to do some damage. He is expensive, but comes with a very nice ceiling in this match-up
Fatts Russell (URI) vs. USF
Fatts is the main scoring threat for this URI team. So far through two games this year he is averaging 18 points 5 assist and 4 rebounds per game. He carries a high usage% on this team, due to lack of other real scoring threats. He is always a threat to go for 30+ real points, which gives him a nice ceiling in this game.
Mardrez McBride (NTEX) vs. Arkansas
McBride had a very nice start to his season scoring 21 points and adding in 3 assist and a rebound. McBride looks poised to carry a big workload for North Texas this year. He will get a very nice matchup vs. an Arkansas team that likes to play fast. McBride is a juco transfer who had a lot of success at that level. He shot over 52% from the field and also shot 50% from three. McBride is priced pretty low on DK, and comes with a good ceiling/floor in this game.
Others to consider: C. Parker (LIB); D. McGhee (LIB); C. Daniels (Nova); C. Thomas (LSU); J. Smart (LSU); M. Miles (TCU); J. Moore (Nova)

Darius Days (LSU) vs. St. Louis
Darius Days got off to a fantastic start this year by posting 24 points and 6 rebounds in LSU’s season opener. Days is one of the main guys LSU will look to for production this year. He is a very capable scorer and also adds good rebounding ability. This game has one of the highest totals on the slate. Days, Watford, Thomas and Smart are all on my radar today.
C. O’Bannon Jr.
O’Bannon is a former 5 star recruit who signed with USC out of college. He has since transferred to TCU where he will be asked to be a big part of their offense. He had a very nice first game with the Horned Frogs putting up 11 points and 9 rebounds. He will look to continue his good play today vs. Tulsa. O’Bannon is listed at only $3500 on DK, and is a near lock for me today. He played 21 minutes in his first game of the season, and I expect his minutes to increase as the season goes.
Jermaine Robinson-Earl (Villinova) vs. Virginia Tech
Robinson-Earl looked like a man among boys in their last game vs. Arizona State. On the season (2 games) Robinson-Earl has 23 points and 9 rebounds. He is poised for another big outing today vs. a Virginia Tech team that will struggle with his combination of size and athleticism. I wondered if Robinson-Earl was going to take the next step in his development from last season, and it appears that he has. He carries a high price tag, but has shown the ability to put up 30+ fantasy points on the regular.
Others to consider: T. Watford (LSU); J. Hauser (MSU); E. Cuffee (LIB); A. Frink (SC); J. Perkins (STL); M. Lissen (STL); C. Vanover (ARK)
