We’re coming off arguably our toughest loss of the season. Noah Syndergaard struggled in his matchup against the New York Yankees on Tuesday, failing to record a strikeout. He obviously hit the under 4.5 strikeouts on Monkey Knife Fight. The problem came with Jordan Montgomery. He threw a 7-inning gem, recording only 4 strikeouts, though. Ultimately, he lost the play by the hook. 2/2 Power Play – Boston Celtics vs Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green u6 assists
This is an interesting spot for Green. He’s averaging 6.8 assists in 29.2 minutes per game over 62 contests this season. His rates have dropped a bit in the playoffs, though, as he’s averaging 6.3 assists per game throughout the 2022 playoffs.
Green also hasn’t found all that much success in recent games, posting 7+ assists in only 2 of his last 8 games, including 1 of his last 5 games. He also recorded 6 assists in only 1 of those contests.
Green gets a tough matchup against the Boston Celtics tonight. They feature one of the best defenses in the NBA, and I’m expecting teams to struggle to score throughout this game. The Celtics have performed well in terms of assists allowed to opposing bigs. Power forwards and centers have both struggled to record assists against Boston, and that should continue in this game.
I’d much prefer this number at 6.5, but I do believe 6 is fine. The SPF Predictor loves this play, and I agree with it.
Al Horford o10.5 points
Horford struggled throughout the season, averaging 10.5 points in 30.3 minutes per game over 86 contests. He’s taken a step forward in the playoffs, though, averaging 11.9 points in 36.7 minutes per game. Horford comes with plenty of scoring upside, and he’s been as up and down of a player as there’s been in recent games.
Horford will be locked into big minutes, though, and he’ll continue to see a similar role that he’s seen in recent games. Although I expect a defensive game, Golden State hasn’t been overly dominant against centers throughout the season. They’ve been roughly average, and Horford doesn’t own that high of a point total tonight.
Furthermore, Golden State will likely sell out their defense to stop Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. There’s no real reason Horford would be someone they’re focusing heavily on in this series.
The SPF Predictor likes the over on Horford, which also sits at -125 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Bet Draymond Green under 6 assists and Al Horford over 10.5 points to win 3x
