- Nice 10-game slate today for you all that gets a bit ruined right off the bat with some clear values that I think you have to plug in or at least keep at the top of your player pools. Chris Boucher, Langston Galloway, Brad Wanamaker, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson are the clear value plays of the slate that will likely be in the winning lineup (some variation – not all of them). It will be crucial to get contrarian around your lineup tonight when paying up with such chalk value plays.
- The Raptors players are going to be the “common build”, with Boucher, Lowry, and probably Ibaka jammed into building the “optimal lineup”. We can start there with where I think the best pivot is…. it’s not Boucher who I believe to be the best value play of the slate. It’s going to be Serge Ibaka who is priced up to 7.4k with Siakam out. Obviously he’ll see a role increase and is an optimal play, but I’d rather use that salary to pivot to a player with higher upside. For me, that’s Tobias Harris. I have my eye on this Mavericks/76ers game tonight and Harris seems primed for a big night if he can knock down his shots. The only thing Ibaka really has over Harris is the rebound rate and I’m not concerned with rebounds as it’s a fairly volatile stat. Take the edge and go Harris > Ibaka at PF tonight.
- When looking to plug in the optimal “high-tier” play it is clearly Andre Drummond. Drummond projects as the top value of the slate and yet is priced 9.5k. That is how well projections are loving him tonight and this is not a situation we will look to fade.
- A pivot I am fairly high on tonight is D’Angelo Russell > Kemba Walker. Priced nearly identically, Walker projects for higher ownership yet Russell is in the much better game environment for scoring. While Walker needs to share the ball with Tatum/Brown, Russell has the offense to himself and has flashed his ceiling the past two years. If you told me we’re getting ceiling games from Walker or Russell… take Russell everytime.
- A game stack I’m finding myself high on tonight is the 76ers vs Mavericks.

- With the Doncic injury, we are going to see more volatile rotations in the coming days meaning more unpredictability we can take advantage of if approached correctly. The prices have come up on the players but not nearly enough to capture the void left by Luka Doncic. The total is going to keep players off of this game tonight and I think it stays closer than Vegas thinks. The 76ers side of the ball has a ton of great value options that are all around the 8-12% range. I’d only be using one of the three sixers I listed below in any given lineup as we try to capture their true upside.
