Chris Paul OVER 15.5 Points
Paul has been on a heater, leading the Suns to a 4-2 win over the Pelicans in round 1. Paul is coming off a historical game where he had a perfect shooting performance (14-14) finishing with 33 points. Paul’s assist prop is always a good play as well, but because of his scoring ability shown in the last series going over this number 4 out of the last 5 games, I am leaning to his points prop. He is also marked at 16.5/17.5 in the books with -130 to go over 16.5, while on PrizePicks he is only at 15.5. I’m banking on the one point margin while also having the odds in favor of the over and hoping he picks up right where he left off in his outstanding previous performance.
Paul at 9.5 assists is also a nice play that I would play around with as well. He averaged 11.3 assists last series and went over the 9.5 mark in every game except the last one where he was shooting exceptionally well
instead. I think there’s a good chance he goes over both, his points, and assists props in game one vs. Dallas. Mix and match his point and assist props to your liking.
Tobias Harris OVER 7.5 Rebounds
With Embiid out for games 1 and 2 I’m going straight to Tobias Harris to be the board collector for the Sixers. Harris has been over this number in the last 4 out of 5 games and that was with Embiid active (who usually collects at least 10 rebounds himself), so it’s hard to believe Harris won’t surpass 7.5 boards, especially now with Embiid out. The books have Harris around -130 to go over this number, DraftKings having even better odds at -145. I like this play, specifically facing the Heat who tend to shoot a lot of threes which could allow Harris to collect those
long rebounds.
Jalen Brunson OVER 18.5 Points
Brunson has consistently been hitting over this number with room to spare. He has proved that he isn’t just “Luka’s sub” but rather a key factor in this team’s success. He has hit over this number in every playoff game in round one with or without Luka. Although facing the suns is a slightly tougher defensive matchup for Brunson, I expect him to go for 20+ points. The books agree with me on this as well and have Brunson at 19.5 making there a one-point margin for he is only 18.5 on PrizePicks. Not only that, but he is also -125 in favor of going over 19.5. I always say take advantage of the margins, and play the odds so I’m taking the over here on his point prop of 18.5.
