Nikola Jokic has seen a few ups and downs in recent games. He’s averaging 19.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.8 steals (44.5 fantasy points) in 30.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Jokic saw limited minutes in a pair of those games, while scoring 50+ fantasy points in a pair of games prior to that span. He gets an elite matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, who feature one of the worst defenses in the NBA against centers this season. Jokic has struggled at times on the road, but should find success in this matchup. His total is a bit low because of his recent lack of minutes, but he’s expected to find 30+ minutes tonight, making him an elite option.
Robert Covington has found plenty of success since joining the Houston Rockets. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 14.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 2.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals (39.1 fantasy points) in 33.1 minutes per game. Covington saw 34+ minutes in each of his last 2 games, scoring 47.6 and 44.2 fantasy points. He gets a solid matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, who feature a solid defense, but push the pace in their games. Covington has found success in his new “small ball” role, and is expected to find minutes in the mid-30s tonight. He’s a great option on a slate with only four games.
