Power Play
Terry Rozier is coming off of a bad game, but has found plenty of success recently. He’s averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists (30.8 fantasy points) in 35.3 minutes per game over his last 3 contests. He posted 32+ fantasy points in 2 of those 3 games, as well. Rozier will be locked into big minutes with Devonte’ Graham injured and Malik Monk suspended once again tonight. He gets a plus matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. They rank 15th in the NBA in pace and 25th in defensive rating. Rozier isn’t overly safe, but he is a solid scoring option, who can add peripheral stats on a nightly basis. He’ll also continue to see a larger offensive role with Graham and Monk, making this total a bit low.
D’Angelo Russell is an interesting option tonight. He’s averaging 23.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 1.4 steals (43.4 fantasy points) in 33.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Surprisingly, he only scored 45+ DK points in 1 of those 5 games. With that being said, he’s a player that has elite scoring potential is the focal point of the Minnesota Wolves offense. Russell gets an elite matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who rank fourth and 21st in pace and defensive rating, respectively. This game features a Vegas total of 246.5 points, and Russell will have plenty of scoring opportunities in this game.
