Power Play
Richaun Holmes has caught fire recently. He’s averaging 17.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 steals (38.7 fantasy points) in 35.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has played 32+ minutes in each of those games, scoring 31+ fantasy points in 4 of those 5 games. Holmes gets a plus matchup against the Houston Rockets, who love pushing the pace in their games. He will see extra opportunities for peripheral stats, adding to his upside tonight. Holmes is also shooting 66.7% or better from the field in 9 of his last 10 games. This total is entirely too for his recent production and matchup tonight.
Ricky Rubio has seen inconsistent at time this season. Still, he’s averaging 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 11.8 assists, and 1.8 steals (38.8 fantasy points) in 34.2 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Rubio saw 33+ minutes in 4 of those 5 games, scoring 34+ fantasy points in each game. He has looked outstanding when given the playing time in 2019, and he’s expected to see 35 minutes tonight. Rubio gets a plus matchup against the Minnesota Wolves, who have struggled defensively this season. While he hasn’t flashed it recently, Rubio does come with triple-double upside. He’s another player that has been playing at a high level in recent games, but his total for tonight doesn’t represent that.
