Power Play
The Washington Wizards simply don’t have any healthy bodies left. Bradley Beal will be nearly the entire offense with Isaiah Thomas, Jordan McRae, C.J. Miles, Davis Bertans, Rui Hachimura, Moritz Wagner, and Thomas Bryant all out. Beal could all see 40 minutes tonight, adding to his upside. He has caught fire recently, averaging 31.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.8 steals (53.5 fantasy points) in 37.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Beal has scored 50+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 games. He gets an elite matchup against the New York Knicks, who have struggled defensively in 2019. Beal is a player that will see plenty of time on the court, and he’s likely to see 20+ shot attempts again tonight. He’s an elite option.
Nikola Vucevic has performed well since returning from injury. He’s averaging 18.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals (42.0 fantasy points) in 32.1 minutes per game in those contests. Those numbers are a bit skewed, though, as Vucevic is coming off of a 62.9 fantasy point performance against the Portland Blazers. He gets an elite option against the Chicago Bulls, who have featured one of the worst defenses in the NBA against talented bigs this season. Vucevic is a double-double threat, who comes with the ability to contribute in each of the five categories. This total is a bit low, as Vucevic looked full healthy in his last game, and he should find plenty of success against Chicago tonight.
