Power Play
Jrue Holiday is averaging 19.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.6 assists (35.7 fantsay points) in 34.2 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Holiday has scored 40+ fantasy points in only 2 of his last 9 games. Generally, he is locked into big minutes, but his role in the offense has been reduced with Brandon Ingram breaking out this season. Holiday gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets in what should be a fast paced and high scoring game. He scored 43.9 fantasy points in his only matchup against the Brooklyn this season. With that being said, Holiday recorded 6 blocks and steals, totaling 18 fantasy points, in that game. Those blocks and steals were an outlier, and shouldn’t be expected again. This total is set only a bit high, making the under a solid play for the time being.
Donovan Mitchell is coming off of two solid games, and he’s averaging 26.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists (36.3 fantasy points) in 34.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has scored 38+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 10 games. He’s coming off of two elite matchups, though, as the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Wolves have struggled defensively this season. Nikola Vucevic recently returned to the Orlando Magic’s lineup, and they have featured an outstanding defense when he has been healthy this season. Orlando will be looking to slow the pace down, while Utah isn’t an overly fast paced team. Mitchell is a player that relies heavily on scoring, but he could see limited opportunities in a tough matchup. While he certainly comes with upside, Mitchell’s under is the significantly better play tonight.
