Over his last 5 games, he’s averaging 22.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.0 block, and 1.0 steal (34.3 fantasy points) in 33.0 minutes per game. Bertans has scored 31+ fantasy points in 4 of those 5 games. He gets a plus matchup against the Charlotte Hornets tonight. They have been slowing the pace down in their games, but rank only 27th in the NBA in defensive rating. Bertans is a player that relies heavily on scoring, and his team boasts an implied team total of 115.8 points tonight. This total is a bit low for the 30+ minutes he’s expected to play, specifically in this particular matchup.
Jimmy Butler has caught fire recently. He’s averaging 27.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.3 steals (53.8 fantasy points) in 39.5 minutes per game over his last 4 games. Butler was able to triple-double in two of those games. He will be locked into big minutes with Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow already ruled out tonight. Butler gets a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. They currently rank 11th in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive rating. This total is a high, but Butler boasts tremendous versatility. He’s an elite option on this slat tonight.
