Malcolm Brogdon has been enjoying an elite season. He’s averaging 22.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 11.3 assists, and 1.5 steals (49.6 fantasy points) in 34.2 minutes per game through 4 contests. Brogdon has struggled from the field over his last two games, but has nearly triple-doubled in each of those games. He posted a 30/2/10/1/1 line against the Cleveland Cavaliers in their only matchup this season. While he isn’t likely to score that many points again, he should see more rebounding opportunities with Myles Turner injured. Brogdon’s ability to contribute in multiple categories keeps his floor high. His total still isn’t indicative of his new role with Indiana, and this total is a bit low.
Tristan Thompson has quietly been enjoying an outstanding season. Through 4 games, he’s averaging 20.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2.3 blocks (43.6 fantasy points) in 34.1 minutes per game. He has double-doubled in each of his four games this season, while flashing tremendous block upside. Blocks are worth three fantasy points on PrizePicks, and Thompson’s elite blocking potential add to his upside tremendously. He posted 25 points with 13 rebounds and 3 blocks in his only matchup against the Indiana Pacers this season. Thompson will be playing against Indiana without Myles Turner, adding to his value. His total sits under 40 fantasy points, which continues to be too low for his new role in the offense.
