Andre Drummond has seen ups and downs early this season. He saw limited minutes because of foul troubles against the Philadelphia 76ers, but he has found success in his other two games. Drummond gets a matchup against the Indiana Pacers, who he scored 32 points with 23 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals against in their only matchup this season. While that may not be the expectation tonight, he comes with 20/20 potential on a nightly basis. Most importantly, Drummond has recorded seven and five steals in his first two games. He’s expected to play minutes in the high-30s or low-40s. Drummond also comes with significantly more upside with Blake Griffin injured.
Trae Young has been playing at an elite level this season, averaging 38.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 1.5 steals in 36.4 minutes per game. Those numbers are simply unsustainable. Young is shooting 58.7% from the field and 55% from beyond the arc. Those are significant jumps from his 41.8% and 32.4% averages from last season. Young could potentially sustain his assist rate throughout the season, but he has nearly doubled his rebounds per game from his rookie season. Young has struggled with blocks and steals, which are extremely valuable in PrizePicks scoring. He also gets a tough matchup against Ben Simmons, who could give Young troubles on the court. There are too many variables to project Young to find the over with this total.
