The biggest concern is the turnovers, which resulted in -6 fantasy points. Still, Doncic’s usage rating sits around 30%, and he’ll play minutes in the mid-30s. Doncic comes with significantly more assist potential than he flashed in his opening game. He gets an elite matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who love pushing the pace in games. While this total is extremely high, Doncic is quickly becoming one of the best players in the NBA, and he should be able to find more success in a great matchup tonight.
The New Orleans Pelicans ran an odd rotation in their first game, but Jrue Holiday played 41 minutes against the Toronto Raptors. He struggled in that game posting only 13 points with 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 5 turnovers (27.8 fantasy points). He struggled from the field, though, and only got to the line twice, missing both of those shots. Holiday’s usage rating is expected to sit around 26.5%, and he’ll continue to play big minutes. There are plenty of players that can steal Holiday’s stats for New Orleans, but he comes with triple-double potential, and his minutes are the most important part of this play. He’s a buy low option tonight.
