He has scored 40+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. Collins gets a plus matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, who rank 12th in the NBA in pace and 23rd in defensive rating this season. He could also see extra minutes at center, as Alex Len has been ruled out for this game. Overall, Collins is expected to see around 30-35 minutes tonight, a slight bump from his recent games. This total is a bit low for his matchup and recent production, making him a solid option for the over.
DeMar DeRozan is a player that has been paying at a high level for quite some time. He’s averaging 29.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.2 steals (47.1 fantasy points) in 34.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. DeRozan has scored 43+ fantasy points in each of his last 4 games, including contests with 50.5 and 62.3 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who rank sixth in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive rating. DeRozan will be locked into minutes in the mid-30s, and he’s the focal point of the San Antonio offense. He comes with tremendous upside, and boasts a solid floor in this matchup, as well.
