Joel Embiid recently returned from injury, and he looked as if he didn’t miss a minute. He needed only 28 minutes to score 33 points with 12 rebounds and two steals (53.4 fantasy points). That has been one of his worse games recently, as well. He’s expected to return to 30+ minutes tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are dealing with multiple injuries in the frontcourt. Embiid is an elite scorer and rebounder, but his ability to add steals and blocks on any given night is what is going to put him over the top, as they are worth three fantasy points each. He should be locked into a big double-double with peripheral stats. Eric Bledsoe has posted a few big games recently, but his total is set a bit high. He posted two elite lines against the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings, but he has struggled quite a bit in his eight games around them. He gets a plus matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, but this game could quickly turn into a blowout. Bledsoe is also averaging 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 23.3 minutes per game against New Orleans. There’s simply too much that could go wrong for Bledsoe to comfortably be projected for the over in this play.
