Over Under 2/2 – Minnesota Wolves/Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal’s prop is set just a bit low, which is why we’re attacking this play. He has been the focal point of the Washington Wizards offense for quite some time, and that’ll be the case once again tonight. He’s averaging 31.4 points on 21.3 shot attempts, 7.8 three-point attempts, and 6.7 free throw attempts per game over his last 10 games. He has also scored 27+ points in nine of those 10 contests. Furthermore, he gets a plus matchup against the Minnesota Wolves, who rank fourth last in the NBA in points allowed (23.8) per game to opposing shooting guards. Beal has yet to play Minnesota this season, but he should be in line for a massive game. Jeff Teague isn’t quite as consistent, but he is averaging 7.8 assists in only 28.1 minutes per game since returning from injury. He played 30+ minutes in only three of those games, but he posted double-digit assist totals in each game. He’s tentatively expected to play 30+ minutes tonight, as well. This is also an ideal matchup for Teague, as Washington is allowing the second most assists (9.2) per game to opposing point guards this season.
Play $50 on Bradley Beal OVER 26.5 points and Jeff Teague OVER 7.5 assists to win $118.50 (2.37x)
Over Under 2/2 – Toronto Raptors/Detroit Pistons
I don’t feel great about Reggie Jackson’s total, but I would be a fool to allow this Pascal Siakam prop to slide out of my fingertips. Siakam has been playing at an extremely high level for the Toronto Raptors, as he’s averaging 20.2 points per game over his last 16 games. He’s also averaging 14.2 shot attempts, 3.5 three-point attempts, and 5.1 free throw attempts in those games. As if that isn’t enough, he was able to produce 15+ points in 81.3% of those games (13 of 16). He needed 29.3 minutes to score 17 points in his first matchup against the Detroit Pistons, and Siakam will be locked into bigger minutes tonight, making it highly likely that he at least replicates that total. Jackson is significantly more volatile, but this total is set extremely low for a point guard. He has failed to top four assists in three of his last four games, but he owns 5+ assists in nine of his last 14 games. He’s expected to play around 30 minutes tonight, and minutes have been a major issue for him. He’ll also be playing at home, where his assist total (and minutes total) is up on a per game basis. The matchup isn’t necessarily ideal, but Jackson needed only 27.1 minutes to record six assists against Toronto earlier this season, and I’ll take a chance on the over here.
Play $50 on Pascal Siakam OVER 14.5 points and Reggie Jackson OVER 4.5 assists to win $115 (2.3x)
