Over Under 2/2 – Portland Blazers/Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls are playing without virtually everyone on their roster. Overall, they will be without Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, Otto Porter Jr., Wendell Carter Jr., Denzel Valentine, and Chandler Hutchison. Wayne Selden Jr. isn’t likely to completely take over the offense, but he will play a large role in it tonight. In his last game, he scored 20 points on 15 shot attempts in 40 minutes. He’s likely to find similar minutes, and a similar role tonight. He gets a solid matchup against the Portland Blazers, who are dealing with their own injuries, and Selden should find a way to stay a volume scorer in this contest. Al-Farouq Aminu’s prop seems a bit inflated because of the recent injury to Jusuf Nurkic. He isn’t an elite rebounder, though, as he’s only averaging 5.8 rebounds in 26.2 minutes per game over his last 22 games. He has also posted 8+ rebounds in only 6 of those 22 games, leaving him to find 7 or fewer rebounds in 16 of those contests. He isn’t expected to see a major uptick in minutes, and he won’t see extra opportunities for rebounds, as Enes Kanter will slide into Nurkic’s minutes, and he has been a slightly better rebounder with a 20.6% rebound rate this season.
Play $50 on Wayne Selden OVER 14.5 points and Al-Farouq Aminu UNDER 7.5 rebounds to win $128.50 (2.57x)
Over Under 2/2 – Golden State Warriors/Memphis Grizzlies
I’m attacking the Jonas Valanciunas prop here, while Stephen Curry is simply along for the ride. Joakim Noah and Jaren Jackson Jr. have been ruled out tonight, meaning Valanciunas will find big minutes once again. That has been the case over his last four games, and he’s averaging 16.8 rebounds in 33.8 minutes per game over that span. Valanciunas is also averaging 13.6 rebounds on a per-36 minute basis this season, and he’ll see plenty of opportunities against the Golden State Warriors tonight. He should easily find the over in this prop. Stephen Curry isn’t truly needed in the offense when Golden State is healthy, as everyone can find ways to score. Because of that, he’s averaging 24.1 points on 19.4 shot attempts, 12.2 three-point attempts, and 3.4 free throw attempts per game over his last nine games. He has also posted fewer than 27 points in 7 of those 9 contests. The Memphis Grizzlies will be looking to slow the pace down in this game, and Curry is averaging only 19.5 points per game against them this season. This game could also quickly turn into a blowout, and if Curry doesn’t find his points early, he may not be given more opportunities to find them. Too much can go wrong for Curry to comfortably be projected for the over.
Play $50 on Stephen Curry UNDER 26.5 points and Jonas Valanciunas OVER 10.5 rebounds to win $125.50 (2.51x)
