Most importantly, Doncic gets a great matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. They rank 15th in the NBA in pace and 25th in defensive rating this season. Doncic is averaging 30.7 points in 35.0 minutes per game against San Antonio this season. He has been slightly less efficient against the Spurs than on the season. If he shoots a bit more efficiently tonight, he will easily find the over. If he doesn’t, Doncic could still find the over as a volume scorer.
DeMar DeRozan was on a recent cold streak, but he posted 25 and 24 points in his last 2 games. DeRozan will continue to be the focal point of the offense with Dejounte Murray and LaMarcus Aldridge injured. He gets a plus matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. They rank 18th and 17th in the NBA in pace and defensive rating. DeRozan is averaging 28.0 points per game against Dallas this season. He should continue to see plenty of shot attempts in this game, making the over a significantly better play.
