More or Less 2/2 – Charlotte Hornets/Houston Rockets
James Harden has played each of his last two games without Clint Capela. In those games, he posted 10 and 16 rebounds. Harden’s uptick in rebounding opportunities directly relates to Capela’s 21.7% rebounding rate. He has been ruled out again tonight, while Russell Westbrook is unlikely to play. Westbrook enters this game with an 11.5% rebounding rate. These two rates are the highest among the Houston Rockets starters. While Harden only boasts a 9.0% rebounding rate this season, he’ll see a massive uptick with Capela and Westbrook off the court. Harden could see double-digit rebounds in this particular matchup, making his total entirely too low.
Terry Rozier hasn’t been dominant from the field recently, but he’s still averaging 19.8 points per game over the last 10 days. Most importantly, he gets a plus matchup against Houston, who ranks second in the NBA in pace and 15th in defensive rating. This game should feature plenty of scoring, and Rozier is one of the focal points of the offense. He should see a few extra shot attempts in this game, and it’d be far from surprising to see him take upwards of 20 shots tonight. While Rozier isn’t a consistent option, he makes a great option for the over in this matchup.
