Over Under 2/2 – Orlando Magic/New York Knicks
Terrence Ross is seemingly finally coming into his own as a scorer in the NBA. He has also had tremendous potential, but he has been somewhat more consistent recently. Over his last 10 games, he’s averaging 19.5 points on 15.1 shot attempts, 8.0 three-point attempts, and 2.7 free throw attempts per game. We can date this production back further, as well, as he’s averaging a healthy 18.0 points per game over his last 22 contests. He isn’t necessarily an overly consistent player yet, but he gets an elite matchup tonight. The New York Knicks have struggled defensively this season, and Ross is averaging 16.0 points in only 22.3 minutes per game against them. He’s expected to see minutes in the mid- to high-20s, and he hasn’t been shy about shooting the ball. He’s a major part of the offense, and he should find success once again in a plus matchup. Damyean Dotson has taken on a new role for the Knicks over his last four games, and this prop seemingly doesn’t take that into account. Over that span, he’s averaging 4.0 three-pointers made on 9.0 three-point attempts per game. He has hit 13 three-pointers in his last two games, while taking at least seven attempts in each of his last four. Dotson is expected to play 30+ minutes once again tonight, and he should find five or more three-point attempts. There’s very little reason to believe he’ll hit the under on this prop, making this essentially a 1/1 for 2.37x your money.

Over Under 2/2 – Boston Celtics/Toronto Raptors
I’m banking on stars coming out to play in a big game. The Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors are two of very few teams that have a legitimate chance to win the East. Kawhi Leonard has had plenty of ups and downs throughout the season, but he has found plenty of success against Boston. In their three matchups, he has scored 31 (2x) and 33 points. He’s also averaging over 20 shot attempts and 10 free throws per game against them. Leonard was given Toronto’s last game off, and he should be fully rested tonight. Boston simply doesn’t have the defense to contain Leonard, and he has been a dominant scorer when he chooses this season. Al Horford has been extremely inconsistent, as he disappears at times rebounding the ball. He has posted 14, 17, and 2 rebounds in his last three games. You read that correctly. The key to this play is that Horford has played 30+ minutes in each of his last five games, and he has proven to rebound well when given the time throughout the season as a whole. Furthermore, he’s averaging 8.7 rebounds in 34.1 minutes per game against Toronto this season, and I expect that to continue tonight.
Play $50 on Kawhi Leonard OVER 25.5 points and Al Horford OVER 7.5 rebounds to win $118.50 (2.37x)
