More or Less 2/2 – Chicago Bulls/Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal has caught fire recently. He’s averaging 33.0 points on 26.5 shot attempts, 7.5 three-point attempts, and 9.3 free throw attempts in 36.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Beal has scored 34+ points in 7 of his last 9 games, including a trio of games with 40+ points. He gets a decent matchup against the Chicago Bulls, who rank 15th in the NBA in pace and 12th in defensive rating. Beal struggled against Chicago in their two matchups this season, but he’s seeing more volume and more efficiency in recent games. He’s likely to see 20+ shot attempts once again tonight, and he could find more success in this matchup than he has in previous games against Chicago.
Zach LaVine has been an inconsistent option throughout the 2019 season. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 23.5 points in 34.5 minutes per game. He is also averaging 16.8 shot attempts, 5.5 three-point attempts, and 6.8 free throw attempts per game in those contests. LaVine has scored 30+ points in only 2 of his last 8 games. He’s also averaging only 27.0 points per game against the Washington Wizards this season. While Washington loves to push the pace and struggles defensively, LaVine hasn’t been able to take advantage of those situations in recent games. While he comes with quite a bit of scoring upside, he isn’t as aggressive as a player like Beal, and this total is surprisingly high for his recent performances.
