Over Under 2/2 – Orlando Magic/Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal is the focal point of the Washington Wizards offense. He boasts a 30.5% usage rating in 2019. With that being said, Beal has been ice cold recently. He’s averaging only 22.0 points per game over his last 5 games. He has also scored fewer than 25 points in 4 of those games. Beal could see limited opportunities in this game, as the Orlando Magic rank 28th in the NBA in pace. They also rank ninth in the league in defensive rating. Beal scored 34 points against Orlando in their only matchup this season, but he was in the midst of a hot streak when that game was played. He’ll struggle with efficiency and opportunity in this game tonight.
Evan Fournier has caught fire recently. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 24.8 points per game. He’s averaging 18.2 shot attempts, 8.0 three-point attempts, and 5.6 free throw attempts per game over that span. Fournier gets an elite matchup against the Washington Wizards. They lead the league in pace, while ranking last in defensive rating. Fournier recently scored 25 points against Orlando while taking only 13 shot attempts. He could see a larger role in the offense tonight, and should continue to find success in this matchup.
