More or Less 2/2 – Minnesota Wolves/Memphis Grizzlies
Andrew Wiggins returned with only 15 points in 31 minutes against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With that being said, he saw 19 shot attempts, 6 three-point attempts, and 2 free throw attempts in that game. Over his last 10 games, Wiggins is averaging 23.6 points on 20.6 shot attempts, 6.8 three-point attempts, and 5.0 free throw attempts per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, who rank third in the NBA in pace and 25th in defensive rating. In two matchups this season, Wiggins is averaging 24.0 points per game against them. He should continue to see plenty of shot opportunities in this game, and he boasts elite scoring potential.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is a player that has seen mixed offensive results this season. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 18.2 points on 12.6 shot attempts, 5.8 three-point attempts, and 2.4 free throw attempts per game. Jackson has scored 18 or fewer points in 3 of his last 4 games. He has struggled with fouls in each of his games against the Minnesota Wolves, averaging only 17.1 minutes per game. While fouls weren’t the only reason for his lack of minutes, he has scored only 12 total points against Minnesota this season. Jackson certainly comes with upside in this matchup, but he isn’t the focal point of the Memphis offense. Jackson will need an efficient game without fouling to find the over in this prop.
