More or Less 2/2 – Sacramento Kings/Minnesota Wolves
Karl-Anthony Towns has caught fire over his last four games. Over that span, he’s averaging 33.8 points per game. He also scored 28+ points in each of those games, while averaging 22.3 shot attempts, 6.8 three-point attempts, and 6.5 free throw attempts per game. Towns has struggled to score at home this season, but he’ll continue to be the focal point of the Minnesota Wolves offense. He gets an interesting matchup against the Sacramento Kings. They love to slow the pace down in their games, but are dealing with multiple injuries to their frontcourt. Sacramento doesn’t possess anyone that can slow Towns down, and he could score 30+ points once again tonight.
De’Aaron Fox is a boom or bust scoring option for Sacramento. He’s averaging 18.8 points on 17.3 shot attempts, 2.8 three-point attempts, and 5.3 free throw attempts per game over the last 10 days. Overall, Fox has scored 22+ points in 4 of his last 8 games. This is a matchup based play, though. He gets a great matchup against the Minnesota Wolves. They currently rank seventh in the NBA in pace and 16th in defensive rating. Fox has struggled to produce on the road, making him a risky option, but he should find plenty of success in this particular matchup.
