*If you don’t already play 3 lineups and 3 max entry contests daily, try using the teams provided in the stacks above to maximize upside and correlation in your MLB lineups.
Pitching: I am ALL IN on F. Valdez today. He has been ELITE this season and gets a beautiful matchup vs this Seattle Mariners squad. Valdez is coming off a 11 strikeout game in which he posted a 6.1 IP, 4 H, 1 BB and 1 ER game. He is easily the highest upside pitcher on today’s slate, but his price is a little hefty. Luckily, there isn’t any Coors on today’s slate so we will be able to fit him in for sure. He is my lock in all formats.
GPP: If you are feeling a Valdez fade for whatever reason, the next guy I would look into is Blake Snell. I am not a fan of the leash he’s been on more so because he hasn’t looked completely like himself this season, but he always has the double digit K upside in him. He’s still hovering around this 5 IP, 75 ish PC. That makes it a little riskier and more strikeout dependent. I would rather just pay up for Valdez.
Top Stacks: Atlanta Braves, Minnesota Twins, Arizona Diamondbacks, Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros. The one batter I am locking in all of my lineups is Freddie MVP Freeman. He is on an absolute tear and has the best numbers in multiple categories this year. He gets an enticing matchup vs Jose Urena who has allowed a .400 wOBA to LHB.
