- We’re back! This slate is great and I’m assuming all games will play, weather aside. This slate is great, it has a variety of pitching options and Coors! To add on, we have the hot Slam Diego Padres in Colorado against lefty Kyle Freeland. Freeland has had a great season so far, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had another stellar performance vs the Padres like he did in his second start of the season, where he went 6 innings with 0 ERs and 4Ks. I think the Padres will be able to get to him for a few runs this time but surprisingly I will most likely end up fading Coors as a whole today.
- For pitching I have two routes, paying up for Scherzer/Gallen, or paying down with Heaney/Mckenzie. Heaney has the Mariners who he’s faced twice already, but his numbers as a whole aren’t as appealing to me (more so upside).
- For McKenzie, he did have a stellar start but he got a bit lucky. He is one of the best prospects and my guy Ben loves him, and so do I. He has a swagger about him and I loved watching his first start in the MLB. The STL Cardinals are average vs righties but he’s very cheap on DK. On FD he is a bit more of a fade for me at that price.
- In terms of bats, I like the Dodgers/Angels/White Sox Righties/Cubs Lefties the most. I am prioritzing Turner/Betts/Pollock for Dodgers, Trout/Fletcher/Rendon for Angels, Abreu/Encarnacion/Anderson/Jimenez for CWS, and Schwarber/Rizzo/Happ for Cubs. I think the Angels should come in low owned today… but with Coors on the slate it always leaves us with surprises!
- That’s my mini-breakdown for the day! I hope you guys enjoy, let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!
