- Great slate with a ton of options for both pitching and bats. For pitching, you have two elite studs in Bieber and Cole, both in somewhat unfavorable matchups as Cole gets the Braves with Acuna back, and Bieber gets one of the best teams in baseball in the Twins. However, both present great K% upside for elite SO pitchers. Giolito has a nice matchup vs the Pirates and Paddack has an elite matchup vs the Mariners, however he’s been quite unsuccessful so far to start the season. I like Bieber over Cole, and Paddack for GPPs.
- In terms of bats, I like the White Sox, Rockies, Padres, Yankees, A’s, Rangers and Cardinals. I am locking in red hot Jose Abreu today, I’m so ready for an 0-4 performance… jokes.
- I really like the ownership I am seeing on the Padres and although Gonzales is not a trash can, he struggles with the long ball and the Slam Diego Padres have been destroying the baseball over the past week.
