Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 Season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Pitching: This is a small slate and we don’t have many options on the pitching side tonight. We have a slate with 3 solid pitchers who I would consider in cash: Musgrove, May, and Bundy. Personally I think Musgrove has a stellar matchup vs the Brewers who are without Yelich as of now. Musgrove’s numbers are all up since increasing his cutter usage, (25.1% this year) and he’s throwing less 4-seam fastballs (12.5%, compared to about 34% in previous seasons). Musgrove is going to be my pitcher for cash games, while I go to Bundy for tournaments. I don’t mind May but the upside is similar to Bundy for a higher price point.

Top Stacks:

Angels

Royals Righties- Soler, Merrifield, Perez, Santana, & Alberto are all great options.

Giants- both sides of the plate are solid here
