MLB DFS 4/9/22 – Top Stacks For Draftkings/Fanduel

Welcome to our MLB DFS Top Stacks for 4/7/22! In this article, I’ll break down by top overall stacks for today’s main slate. Last year was an extremely big year for the Karma team in MLB, and we are looking to continue that success in 2022. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate this season — you can gain access to the Core Plays as well as our premium discord here. You can also try out the Core Plays package with a $5 daily pass. Let’s get to the stacks…

Los Angeles Dodgers

Projecting to be the chaliest stack of the night and for good reason. They get another date at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies. German Marquez isn’t a pitcher that really worries me when pitching at home. Overall last year he had an ERA of 4.40 with nearly the most earned runs in his entire career. The Dodgers have an even better lineup than the year previous. Stacking them in any way is a fantatsic option tonight as they are projected for nearly 7 runs as of right now. Colorado’s bullpen is nothing to write home about either, whenever we see Marquez get pulled it should be easier for the bats of LAD. For a lower owned stack here, try going with the bottom of the lineup wrapping around to the top.

Atlanta Braves

I was debating writing up the New York Mets here but the ladder takes the cake. The world series champs have made a lot of moves in the past year to bolster their roster and it has paid off greatly. Gutierrez is coming off of a decent rookie campaign year but has struggled with power hitters as he likes to throw his fastball nearly 50% of the time. Unluckily for him, the Braves have a ton of them. Matt Olson has been off to a hot start with his new team, which should continue as he gets a solid matchup tonight and after the two games played this year boasts an 80% hard hit rate. Yes, I know the sample size is small but more than half of this starting lineup is over 50%. As of right now, they’re not projecting for super high ownership and could easily get to the Reds early and keep punishing them. Even a mini stack here would be great and they make for a solid option in all formats.

Houston Astros

This is my sneaky tournament stack for tonight. Projecting for low ownership and are in a solid spot against Noah Syndergaard and co. He recently came back from Tommy John surgery and hasn’t returned to his former self yet. Houston has a lot of power in their lineup he could easily struggle against them. Houston is without Yuli Gurriel which most likely slots Aledmys Diaz into a starting role again. He provides a solid value option at $3700 (DK) and has homerun upside everytime he steps up to the plate. Their hard hit rate is extremely good so far and haven’t struck out much yet either. Using this stack with Justin Verlander is a smart strategy as if the bats hit well, it is more likely for him to grab a win as well.
