MLB DFS 4/30/22 – Top Stacks For Draftkings/Fanduel

Welcome to our MLB DFS Top Stacks for 4/30/22! In this article, I’ll break down by top overall stacks for today’s main slate. We got a solid 7 game slate today and there are a TON of great ways to go. It is a slate very little value in pitching so hitting the right stacks should be pivotal today. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate this season — you can gain access to the Core Plays as well as our premium discord here. You can also try out the Core Plays package with a $5 day pass. Let’s get to the stacks…

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers got off to a shaky start but lately have been on a surge. This is looking like your best stack situation in cash games. Beau Brieske is a rookie on the mound for just his second start and didn’t look great against Detroit. Now he gets this monsterous team that is ten fold better in all formats. More than half of this roster has a hard hit rate over 40 and there is a ton of power in it as well. I will add that the wind should be blowing outwards around 5 mph as well as weather in the low 70’s. This is only going to help the ball go farther on contact and make some of these hits even better than usual.  There isn’t a lot of great mid tier pitching so getting a full stack of these expensive guys will be difficult but well owrth it if you can fit them in. Just in case you’re not sold yet, they are projected for an implied 5.8 runs tonight and personally think they get into double digits.

New York Yankees

Listen, they have got things going recently and get another elite matchup against Carlos Hernandez. This guy has a strikeout rate of just 7.7%.  He throws a fastball nearl 50% of the time and New York loves to smash those things. They were hot to start out yesterday and finished with 4 home runs and should be able to duplicate that if not exceed that here.  Joey Gallo should be back in the order and I really like lefties against him. There should be plenty of people using these guys as one offs but a full stack shoud go a little less owned and is a great route to go. Also really like going with a stack on the same team as your pitcher. Gerrit Cole is on the mound and I think there is some upside stacking both from the same team.

Milwaukee Brewers BONUS

Lastly, Milwaukee gets a date with the Cubs at American Family Field. It looked like things were on a good track last night and they will be looking to improve on that here again. Justin Steele is a kind of pitcher we want to attack. He is walking batters at a 15% rate and striking them out at nearly the same. I really think this batting order can do way more than what they have done to begin the year and this is aperfect matchup to showcase it and get the ball rolling even more.  I prefer righties tonight besides Yelich (L) who is matchup proof in my opinion. The best thing about the Brewers is they’re not expensive to get to and boast a tremendous amount of upside.

BONUS

For what it’s worth, I think The Rockies are a fine spot to go to here as well. The matchup isn’t as great as the mentioned above but it is Coors Field and who knows it better than them? They were low owned last night and impressed and could very well put out similar stats tonight at low ownership again.
