Eric Thames ranked high today in my HR prediction with 18.5 % chance to Bomb. He faces Aaron Nola who has been giving up a ton of power this season to LHBs and he faces a loaded lefty lineup. Thames will see fastballs from Nola, and he is hitting this type of fastball with wOBA .527, ISO .486 64% hard contact. Sign me up for a Full lefty Brewers stack staring with Thames!

Houston Astros vs Detroit Tigers
Tyler White 1B – DK$3300/FD$2200/Yahoo$9
I am not sure what I love more about Tyler White today. His price is super low on all sites. Not to mention with his huge power and probably the highest team total on the slate. White verse Boyd here is a prime spot with seeing 91mph fastball 54% of the time. He only destroys that pitch and wOBA .345, ISO .345 with 44% HC as well. He should be in your Astro’s stack in not a low price one off.

Los Angeles Angels vs Minnesota Twins
Shohei Ohtani OF – DK$4100/FD$3500/Yahoo$18
Man, there is some serious stars represented here in this game and it warrants a game stack! Ohtani makes hitting bombs look easy and effortless with his easy swing. Generating huge power and metrics just prove his ISO .287, HR/FB % has him an HR prediction 19%.

Cleveland Indians vs Chicago White Sox
Jake Bauers OF – DK $3800/FD$3200/Yahoo$15
Jake Bauers is fitting in nice in that Cleveland outfield. He will see a 94mph fastball 64% of the time from R. Lopez. Factoring in his wOBA .428, ISO .231, HC % of 55% gives him a 19.5 % HR prediction. His low price on this slate I can see him with a nice low owned bomb here.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs Arizona Diamond Backs
Jung-ho Kang 3B – DK $2900/FD$2400/Yahoo$7
At first look I was like wow the Pirates will be massive chalk. After looking at the lack of stud pitching to pay up for, I think we have a huge leverage spot for some pirates RHBs. Small sample size alert, but Kangs 77% hard contact, wOBA .454 has serious bomb upside. An ISO of .357, wRC+ 127 are some of the metrics that give him 18% HR prediction with 5 stars.

Oakland Athletics vs Seattle Mariners
Stephen Piscotty OF – DK $3600/FD$2900/Yahoo$14
Stephen Piscotty has locked up his spot in the Oakland lineup. He also locked up the highest HR prediction in my home run formula than any other player on this slate. Projected to be batting near the top of the order verse a pitch he will see 50% shows why he got 20.5% HR prediction. wOBA .630, ISO .558 verse 93 mph fastball had me do a double take. My second GPP line will have him stacked with Oakland and Pittsburgh.
