Let’s get into it!
Stud:
Judge/Stanton/LeMahieu: It’s finally time to target the Yankees! It’s a beautiful day at Yankee Stadium and it used to be a tradition to stack the Yankees vs a lefty. Today is that day! Allen’s numbers are inflated based on matchups early in the season. The wind is blowing out to right which is always a great thing for the short porch of Yankee Stadium. Allen struggles to miss bats which is the Yankees’ biggest weakness. I am all in on the Yanks tonight.
JD Martinez: Martinez has always been one of the better hitters in baseball versus left-handed pitching. Martine has also been one of the hottest hitters in baseball to start the season! The combination of the two makes Martinez a great spend-up option on this slate. Kikuchi has been hot and cold to start the year which is the story of his career, I tend to lean toward him being pretty below average. Mixing in a few of the guys under the volume column allows you to get to Martinez.
Value:
Alex Blandino/Zack Short/Alex Kiriloff: We have INSANE value today! It’s the perfect day for it. You can spend up for Degrom and Glassnow + an expensive stack if you mix in a few of these bats hitting near the top or middle of their respective teams’ order. They are all young talented prospects and I want to be invested early in these solid matchups.
