Bieber enters this game with a 3.15 xFIP and a 3.32 SIERA. He has held right-handed batters to a .222 average with a .374 slugging percentage and a .268 wOBA this season. Guerrero is hitting fourth in the Toronto Blue Jays lineup, which is likely to result in an extra at-bat for him, but I’m betting under on a young player against a high-level pitcher on this slate.
Trea Turner is in an elite spot tonight. He has found success recently, recording a .279 average with a .512 slugging percentage and a .852 OPS over his last 10 games. He boasts seven extra-base hits (one home run), four RBIs, and three stolen bases in those contests. Turner has posted a 50% hard hit rate with a 94 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. He’s also hitting for a .315/.532/.907 line at home this season. Turner gets an elite matchup against Kyle Freeland, who has struggled terribly throughout the 2019 season. Turner also brings a 0.026 wOBA differential against left-handed pitching into this game. He’s expected to lead off for what should be one of the best offenses on the slate, and this total is surprisingly low.
