Gleyber Torres has looked outstanding over his last 10 games, posting a .289 average with a .711 slugging percentage and a 1.083 OPS. He also owns six extra-base hits (five home runs) and nine RBIs over that span, as well. Furthermore, Torres has recorded 42% hard hit and 60% fly ball rates to go along with a 95 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. He will be moving from one of the more pitcher friendly stadium in the MLB to one of the most hitter friendly today. He also gets a solid matchup against Matt Strahm, and Torres brings 0.026 wOBA and 0.132 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching into this game. He’s expected to hit fifth in the New York Yankees lineup, and they could feature one of the best offenses on the slate.
Josh Harrison makes an interesting option today. He hasn’t necessarily been playing well recently, recording a .212 average with a .333 slugging percentage and a .545 OPS over his last 10 games. He has posted three extra-base hits, one RBI, and one steal in those games, as well. Harrison only owns 29% hard hit and 45% fly ball rates to go along with a 91 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. Harrison is expected to hit sixth in the Detroit Tigers lineup, though, and he gets an elite matchup against Gabriel Ynoa in Baltimore’s hitter friendly stadium. Ynoa will only serve as an opener, though, and Baltimore’s bullpen has struggled this season. While Harrison isn’t an elite hitter, he should see plenty of opportunities for fantasy points today, making his total a bit low.
