Yoan Moncada’s prop is set relatively high, similarly to Tim Anderson yesterday, but I’m taking a shot on the situation. He’s hitting .308 with four extra-base hits (three home runs), five RBIs, and two steals over his last 10 games. He also owns a 45% hard-hit rate with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Moncada is hitting second in the Chicago White Sox lineup, and he gets a great matchup against Andrew Cashner in a hitter friendly stadium tonight. I’m expecting Chicago to score plenty of runs, and Moncada will likely play a large role in that.
Willy Adames hasn’t played that bad this season, but he has struggled at home. Through 13 home games, he owns a .116 average with only two extra-base hits and zero RBIs. He’s also averaging only 2.2 fantasy points per game at home. He has also struggled a bit over the last 15 days with a 60% ground ball rate. He’s hitting ninth in the Tampa Bay Rays lineup, and he’ll see limited opportunities to score fantasy points tonight. Generally, I’ll push for the under in players that are hitting late in the order, and that’s the case for Adames.
